Cherokee Students Celebrate 100 Days of Learning
Cherokee Elementary School Celebrates 100 Days of Learning
As you walk through the halls of 300 Cherokee Street, the excitement of "100 Days of Learning" is evident. Teachers and students decorate their classroom doors with various themes to show all the ways that students are learning at Cherokee Elementary School. Pictured is Mrs. Sandra Perry's first grade classroom's door showing English Language Standard ELA1R3d, "The student demonstrates the relationship between letters and letter combinations of written words and the sounds of spoken words. The students read words with inflectional endings." Students found 100 words with inflectional endings and posted them on their door.
